Why do I need the FFT School Dashboard?
Simple & easy to understand
The FFT dashboard is made up of 6 easy to understand reports. Utilising a range of simple gauges, charts and tables, the dashboard allows you to quickly compare your attainment and progress to both national data and similar schools.
In just 6 reports, FFT provides a full evaluation of your school’s performance. It identifies strengths and weaknesses across different subjects and pupil groups using a full range of attainment, DfE progress and FFT contextualised progress measures.
New DfE measures
The 2016 dashboard includes all the latest DfE performance measures – scaled scores, expected and high standards – in Reading, Writing, Maths, Grammar, Punctuation & Spelling and Science. And you can still access dashboards for previous years in levels as well.
Compare new & old data
Have we improved? It’s a difficult question to answer this year. But help is at hand. FFT have recalculated 2014 and 2015 results using the new DfE performance measures. So for the first time you’ll be able to compare 2016 scaled scores to scaled scores in previous years.
Visual & usable
FFT dashboards are highly visual making them easier to read and quicker to analyse. We have worked closely with schools to ensure that we have the right balance between design, usability and understanding. So gauges, line graphs & bar charts are in and unfathomable infographics are out.
Whilst FFT provide all schools with a static PDF dashboard, the power of Aspire is in it’s interactivity. Select the Year, Indicator, Subject or Pupil group to fit your needs or let FFT make the selections for you – the choice is yours.
